Zhanqiao Pier 栈桥
A 440-meter stone pier built in 1892 for German naval landings, ending in a double-roofed pavilion with Little Qingdao islet and its lighthouse just beyond. The single most photographed spot in the city and the natural start of a walk along the bay.
Local tipIt gets genuinely packed on weekends and holidays — the view is the same at 7am with a fraction of the people.
