Day 1 · Pandas & old streets

Morning: Panda Base at opening — go straight to the nursery and main enclosures while the pandas are active and feeding.
Afternoon: Back downtown for Jinli Ancient Street and the Wuhou Shrine; snacks and souvenirs along the lanes.
Evening: Your first hotpot — a split broth if you're spice-shy — near Chunxi Road.

Day 2 · Tea & temples

Morning: People's Park: a teahouse morning, mahjong, and the flower market pace of local life.
Afternoon: Wenshu Monastery (working Buddhist temple with a vegetarian hall) and Kuanzhai Alley for tea and crafts.
Evening: Sichuan opera and a face-changing (bian lian) show, if you want the classic night out.
